Reliable Maintenance and Long-Term Performance
Solar modules and equipment operate reliably for years, but the accumulation of dust, pollen, smog, soot, leaves, and bird droppings can gradually reduce light transmission and decrease energy production. In many cases, rain and wind are not sufficient to remove persistent contamination, especially at smaller module pitch.
That is why our O&M approach is based on three key principles: preventive inspections, timely module cleaning, and rapid response whenever irregularities occur. This minimizes the risk of standstill in time, protects the equipment, and preserves the long-term value of the solar power plant investment.
Module Cleaning
We perform module cleaning using methods that are safe for PV surfaces. Appropriate soft-bristle tools are used, along with demineralized water when necessary, in order to prevent mineral residues and dirt accumulation.
The recommended cleaning interval is typically at least twice per year, although the frequency is adjusted according to site conditions and environmental factors such as dust, industrial pollution, vegetation, nearby roads, and actual production data.
When Is It Time to Clean the Modules?
When a prolonged drop in energy production is noticed compared to the expected seasonal performance.
When visible dirt, stains, dust deposits, or leaves accumulate on the modules – in many cases, a simple visual inspection is enough to determine the need for cleaning.
Preventively Maintenance
Inspections and condition of modules, mounting structures, and visible connections to ensure that any deviation are detected at an early stage.
Remote Monitoring
Performance monitoring and detection of unusual decline in energy production, used as an early signal for inspection or cleaning.
