Solvis Implements Advanced Huawei Battery Energy Storage System at Two Muraplast Locations
As part of its long-term partnership with Muraplast d.o.o., Solvis has successfully installed the advanced Huawei LUNA2000-215-2S10 battery energy storage system at two key locations – the company headquarters and the Muraplast South production facility in Kotoriba.
A Technological Step Forward for Greater Energy Efficiency
A total of seven battery storage units have been installed:
- Muraplast South production facility: 5 storage units with a total capacity of 1,075 kWh
- Company headquarters: 2 storage units with a total capacity of 430 kWh
Each unit has a capacity of 215 kWh and a power output of 108 kW, resulting in a combined system capacity of 1,505 kWh and total power output of 756 kW. The system has been fully integrated into the investor’s existing electrical infrastructure.
This upgrade significantly increases the utilization of the existing solar power plants, enabling better balancing of energy production and consumption, greater energy independence, and a stronger contribution to sustainable business operations.
Continuing a Strategic Partnership
The project was carried out in collaboration with the Huawei Croatia team, building on previous joint initiatives such as the Huawei FusionSolar Truck event held earlier this year at Solvis headquarters in Varaždin.
We would like to thank Muraplast for its trust and confidence, as well as everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of this important step toward a greener energy future.
