Josip Lasić Elected President of the Electrical and Electronics Industry Association
At the Electoral Assembly of the Electrical and Electronics Industry Association, held on 17 April at the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Zagreb, a new leadership team was elected, and the Association’s work programme for the 2026–2030 term was presented.
Josip Lasić, CEO of Solvis, a Croatian manufacturer of photovoltaic modules based in Varaždin, was elected President of the Association. Medeja Lončar of Siemens d.d. and Vanja Burul of KONČAR – Distribution and Special Transformers Inc. were appointed as Vice Presidents.
The newly elected leadership will focus on strengthening the competitiveness of Croatia’s electrical and electronics industry, with particular emphasis on increasing productivity, expanding export potential, and fostering stronger cooperation between industry and research and innovation institutions.
Key priorities also include promoting high quality standards, advancing new technologies, and accelerating the digital transformation of manufacturing. The overall goal is to create an environment that supports the long-term, sustainable, and technologically advanced development of the sector.
